IFA or International Fiscal Organization is an association dedicated to the study of finance and financial laws around the world. Formed in 1938, in the Netherlands, the association is a non governmental wing studying and comparing the world economic policies and the impact of taxation on the world economy. It is spread over 63 countries and its membership currently stands at around over 12,500 people. The association is also targeted at reforming some of the economic policies of the world.
IFA carries out annual congresses to share knowledge and views on the economic policies and laws of the world. IFA news & finance news are shared on a common platform in these congresses and some economic reforms in policies and laws are proposed. These annual seminars are held at each of the participant countries every year.
Since 1993, IFA has initiated a unique scheme to encourage young people to study the taxation policies and the economic policies of the world. 10 eager students who are writing a thesis on the principles of taxation are allowed to participate in the Congress and share their views and opinions on the subject in the Congress. They can even promote their thesis material in the Congress venue. Therefore, the young are encouraged to take an active interest in IFA news & finance news.
Research on economy
Research work on the world economy was encouraged by David R. Tillinghast. The research programme dedicated in his name aims to do a thorough research on the financial and technological development of the taxation laws around the world. Three publications have been published already on the research material.
In addition to this, many other rewards and prizes have been incorporated to encourage the scientific development of the economic policies and tax policies of the world. IFA news & finance news open up a wide horizon of the economic structure of the world.
